3rd Rajamangala University of Technology International Conference at Cholchan Pattaya Resort Hotel in Thailand.
On December 14 -16th, 2011, A group of UME delegates led by H.E TUN Pheakdey was invited to participate 3rd Rajamangala University of Technology International Conference at Cholchan Pattaya Resort Hotel in Thailand. The topics of the conference focused on Food and Agriculture, Engineering and Industry, and Business and Management under presidential head of H.E Woravat Auapinyakul, minister of Ministry of Education of Thailand and special delegates from Cambodia, Vietnam, Lao PDR, Philippines, and Taiwan.

On Monday 19th December, 2011 University of Management and Economics leads by H.E TUN Pheakdey and his delegates had reached an agreement of Memorandum of Understanding with Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-Ok, Thailand at 3rd Rajamangala University of Technology International Conference at Cholchan Pattaya Resort Hotel in Thailand.
SIGNING MoU BETWEEN UME AND VALAYA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY,Thailand
In direction to cooperation with other universities in both local and overseas, it is the best choice for University of Management and Economics to enhance the quality of education, as well as intellectual human resources throughout Cambodia. On April 2nd, 2012 UME had reached to sign the Memorandum of Understanding with University VALAYA Rajabhat, Thailand in order to cooperate and strengthen both universities. As that time, any points were agreed such as: academic program, lecturer and student exchanging program. It was also the best opportunity to encourage both teachers and students to share and learn culture and civilization to each other because of Cambodia and Thailand being the members of The Association of Southeast Asia Nations.
Workshop on Cervical Cancer and Vaccination
On the 06th December 2011, in the campus of University of Management and Economics of Battambang, another workshop held “Cervical Cancer and Vaccination”. On behalf of the President of UME, Mr. Chan Sam An a Vice President of Universisty of Management and Economics, had learned to UME students to be alert of Cervical Cancer. Dr. BUN Sovanna, director of Sovann Clinic, had explained clearly about the danger Cervical Cancer and cause lead to cervical cancer. He encouraged students to their health and trying to get information from department of health as possible as they could. This workshop bared great benefits to female students, they have says thanks to UME President who always take care them not even for their study as well as Health-Cared. This workshop had lunched by University of Mangement and Economics and Clinic Sovann after signing MoU.
WORKSHOP ON INFLUENZA AND
PREVENTION INFLUENZA
On the 05th December 2011, in the campus of University of Management and Economics of Battambang, we have held a workshop “INFLUENZA AND PREVENTION INFLUENZA”. On behalf of the President of UME, Mr. Chan Sam An a Vice President of University of Management and Economics, had learned to UME students to be careful with H1N1. And know how to report to Health Department which is close. Dr. BUN Sovanna, director of Sovann Clinic, had explained clearly about the danger of H1N1, he encouraged students to cooperate with Department of Health and inform to nearest department. This is the first time of University of Management and Economics and Clinic Sovann put effort together to work on this workshop to education students to understand of danger of H1N1 and other Influenza, and educated them to live free from Influenza. Note, Clinic Sovann is a partner of UME by signing MoU.

On November 19th, 2011 H.E TUN Pheakdey, the president of University of Management and Economics was invited to take part the commencement at UME Kampong Cham campus under the presidential delegate, a head of National Assembly of Cambodia, Samdech Akak Moha Ponhea Chakrey HENG Samrin. In the special occasion, the number of the students graduated successfully was 654.
Workshop of Anti-Drugs and Prevent People from Using Drugs
On the 24th of November-2011, in the campus of University of Management and Economics of Battambang, we have held a workshop “Danger of Heroin and How to prevent people from using Heroin”. On behalf of the President of UME, Mr. Chan Sam An a Vice President of Universisty of Management and Economics, had learned to UME students to live and endowing with morality and lives free from Heroines. If we want to live in happiness we have to live free and far from drugs addiction and not to associate with the ignorance and to associate with the wise. To associate with the wise means to live without morphine, amphetamines, heroines and etc.
Workshop on" Traffic Law"
On the 30th November 2011, in the campus of University of Management and Economics of Battambang, we have held a workshop “The Law of Traffic”. On behalf of the President of UME, Mr. Chan Sam An a Vice President of University of Management and Economics, had learned to UME’s students to live with morality and obeying the law of traffic. Happiness happened to us by obeying the Law of Traffic. Major Sart Kimsan (Chief of Traffic Police Department of Battambang Province) had taught about the law of traffics to 356 UME’s student. He encourages students to respect and obeying the law. He said “Drunk don’t Drive, if Drive don’t make yourself Drunk”. “Driving must use seat-belt and wearing helmet if driving motorbikes. “Respect the law of traffic law we can live long, and it not we have short life”. With questions and answers forum, UME’s students were happy to learn and promise to obey the law of traffic. Wonder of Citizen is a citizen who obeying the traffic laws.
